2006 Season - Week 4

Mark has Most Medals

I was recently asked if the BUMS were like the Olympics who would have the most medals. So if winning the Papas Fritas trophy gets you a Gold, being runner-up a Silver and coming third a Bronze here’s the medal table... Pos Player Gold Silver Bronze 1 Mark 2 1 3 2 Wayne 2 0 1 3 Johnny 1 2 1 4 Chief 1 1 2 =5 Gully 1 1 0 =5 David S 1 1 0 =7 Cheryl 1 0 0 =7 Marcus 1 0 0 =7 Daz 1 0 0 10 Andy H 0 2 1 11 Paul 0 2 0 12 AP 0 1 1 13 John 0 0 2 BUMS Players Hall of Fame As mentioned last week it’s time to put 4 more players into the Marbled Halls. Thanks to those who have already nominated. For those still to select, choose your favourite 5 players (in order) from the 10 nominee’s and get them back to me by Sunday October 15th (yes that is Trading Day 1). The nominee’s are HC Tony Dungy, QB’s Donovan McNabb and Tom Brady, RB’s Corey Dillon, LaDainian Tomlinson, Tiki Barber, Warrick Dunn and Receivers Joe Horn, Rod Smith and Torry Holt. The 4 highest scorers will make the Hall. Trading Day 1 With 22 players still yet to score a point this season Trading Day 1 can’t come too soon for some owners. As mentioned earlier it will be on Sunday Oct 15th before the week 6 fixtures. We will trade at 4:30pm before the Sky doubleheader of Philadelphia Eagles @ New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs @ Pittsburgh Steelers. BUMS on Seats. We will be at BUMS HQ from 6pm on Sunday evening to see Buffalo @ unbeaten Chicago followed by “The Return of TO” as Dallas travel to Philadelphia. The Red Button games are St Louis @ Green Bay & Kansas City @ Arizona in Matt Leinart’s first scheduled start.
